The area
Liddes and neighbouring Bourg-Saint-Pierre, in Valais on the road to the Great St Bernard Pass. Geneva Airport is 1h45 by train and bus via Martigny and Orsieres, Sion airport 50 minutes. The 4 Vallees and Verbier slopes are the reason to come in December.
Things to do nearby
A small alpine village in Val d'Entremont built one of the first crowdfunded coliving houses (Swiss Alps Coliving), drawing remote workers for fiber internet, hiking and skiing access, and lower costs than Swiss cities.
Liddes is a small alpine village reached by train from Geneva to Martigny, then a connecting train to Orsières and a bus to Liddes; a car isn't needed once there but the trip from Geneva airport takes 2-2.5 hours.

The winter edition, third time round: seven days splitting mornings between the slopes and a coworking room, with keynotes, unconferences, a storytelling night and a pitching competition filling the rest. The ski pass inside the ticket covers 4 Vallées/Verbier plus the Grand St Bernard. Accommodation not included — book separately; the organiser points attendees to Swiss Alps Coliving. The ticket also expects about two hours of group meal prep a day; breakfast and dinner are covered, lunch is not.
