Vibe
Work-forward, small-cohort, and built around the enforced stillness of a crossing. The pitch is explicit about what it is not: "This is not a ballroom conference. It is not a generic group cruise." Expect facilitated conversation and peer advisory over keynote theatre, with the cohort assembled ahead of sailing and kept in touch after Barcelona. Adults-only ship, Virgin's design-led style, and a crowd of freelancers, consultants, founders and salaried remote workers — the organiser is clear you don't need to be a full-time nomad to join, just "curiosity, a laptop, and a desire to use the crossing for something more intentional."

The area

You board at PortMiami and step off in Barcelona two weeks later. Three port calls across the whole crossing — Las Palmas in the Canaries, Casablanca on the Moroccan coast, Valencia on the Spanish Mediterranean — and the rest of it is sea days, which is the actual selling point: no wifi hunting, no accommodation logistics, no time-zone churn while the ship tracks east. Coworking happens at The Grounds Club and in semi-private deep focus labs; port days are run as group experiences rather than free-for-alls, with an all-aboard regroup after each one.

About

A transatlantic crossing on Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Lady from Miami (April 24, 2027) to Barcelona (May 8), calling at Las Palmas, Casablanca and Valencia. The cabin is the ticket: accommodation and the programme — five workshops, a BarCamp and a peer advisory lab, coworking labs, meetups and group dinners — both come with the fare, along with onboard wifi and Virgin's signature dining. Organised by William Campbell of Out of Office Travel, a Virgin Voyages travel agency; the programme is subject to Virgin's final onboard schedule.
