Small enough that you keep bumping into the same 150 people across ten days — surf lesson in the morning, unconference in the afternoon, buffet dinner at night. Attendees come from over 20 countries and a substantial share of the room is Filipino freelancers and remote professionals rather than only visiting foreigners, which is an unusual mix for a nomad conference. Partner venues run fiber, Starlink and backup generators, so calls survive the island's power cuts, though the organisers are explicit that they'd rather you kept work to a minimum.

The area
General Luna, the main hub on the south-east corner of Siargao Island, with the island's beaches, restaurants, bars and coworking spaces. Sayak Airport is about 45 minutes away by tricycle or van at ₱200–600; flights in are 20–30 minutes from Cebu or Davao, or about 2 hours from Clark, and there are no direct flights from Manila. The ferry from Surigao City to Dapa takes 1.5–2 hours. October is peak season — 27–32°C, consistent surf, and short afternoon rain that clears quickly.

The conference venue, the coworking spaces and most of the places you'd stay are within walking distance of each other. Mornings are keynotes and workshops, afternoons are unconference sessions and activities, with a wellness day in every ticket and a closing beach party on October 25.
