Getting around
A rented scooter is essential since there's no Grab or public transit; habal-habal and tricycles cover short hops; Sayak airport is 20-30 minutes from General Luna.
Siargao Airport (IAO) is on the island. Most people fly in via Cebu, which has 10–20 flights a day to Siargao; Davao and Clark have fewer, Surigao has one or two a day, and there are no flights from Manila. The alternative is two ferries.
