The area
Taitung County on Taiwan's Pacific-facing southeast, rotating weekly through the Nanhui south, the inland Rift Valley, the coast around Dulan and finally Taitung City itself. Base is minutes from Tiehua Village, the night market and the railway art village.

About
Four weeks, one per zone, with 270-plus programs across 60-plus venues: Nanhui in the south (Indigenous craft and the welcome market), the inland Valley (rice terraces, red oolong and hot-air balloons), the Coast (surf, a beach music festival and ocean tours), then Taitung City (talks, open-source sessions and a closing sunset party). Accommodation not included — book separately; the festival negotiates rates at a home-base hotel in Taitung City, and the cohort stays in local guesthouses during the regional weeks. Each of Taiwan Digital Fest's three legs is sold on its own.
